Prevent

As a part of our ongoing goal to see slavery eradicated worldwide, we are passionate about seeing situations stop before they even have the chance to start. This comes in the form of awareness and outreach in our local, central Florida communities as well as in Uganda. We aim to educate people of every age about the injustices about human trafficking; how you can avoid it and how you can help fight it. Join our mailing list to stay updated on events happening in your area.

Restore

We operate a live-in restoration home for female, teenage victims of human trafficking and sexual abuse in Uganda, Africa. Survivors range from ages 11-18 years old. Girls enrolled in our program stay at our home 3-6 months depending on their case. While there, they receive medical care, trauma counseling, academic tutoring and vocational training, serve opportunities within their community and a safe environment where they can re-discover how to be a child again. Every survivor has a story, and we want her to know she is more than what has already been written.

PARTNER

She Is More Than is completely donor funded. We rely on supporters like you who are passionate about seeing modern-day slavery come to an end and survivors walking in lasting freedom. Become a Freedom Fighter! Our Freedom Fighters are the legs we stand on! This team helps us organize and run events, promote awareness in their local communities, keep up donor relations and are our biggest advocates spreading the word about the injustices of human trafficking and what She Is More Than is doing in the fight against it.

FREEDOM IS POSSIBLE. WE LIVE IT, WILL YOU GIVE IT?

OUR PLANS

We are currently in the beginning stages of building our forever home in Uganda. As the need grows, so we will grow to meet it. Once completed, our site will be a multi-structural property where we will house and rehabilitate up to 60 girls at a time; this is more than double the amount of survivors we are able to serve now.

It’s also an exciting time for our team in central Florida. We are working closely with Seminole County schools to see curriculum added to every high school that will promote awareness among students about the dangers of human trafficking and how they not only can avoid it, but become paramount players in the battle against it.
